Medical Reconciliation Specialist

Our client is a large-scale healthcare provider. They have over four decades of experience providing pharmacy, clinical, and nonclinical care to patients both at home and throughout their community. They focus on quality, innovation, and improving their community as a whole. They are hiring a Medical Reconciliation Specialist to be responsible for the administration of resident trust account requests.

The Medical Reconciliation Specialist will ensure that funds are available and that relevant transaction records are kept in accordance with external reporting standards.

Hybrid model with Monday - Wednesday in office and Thursday/Friday remote from home. Work shifts start at 6:30am, 7am, 7:30am, or 8am.

This is contract to hire (CTH) opportunity with a 3-month period.

Focus:

  • Maintain and file client record reports and/or correspondence for all client accounts.
  • Update existing data and perform regular data entry from specified accounts.
  • Deposit funds in accordance with business standards.
  • Validate fund availability and issue in accordance with local guidelines and corporate regulations.
  • Review invoices to confirm transaction and records comply with regulatory standards and policy.
  • Perform all release requirements, including the transfer/closure of balances.
  • Collaborate with varying teams to address reconciliation, as applicable.
  • Administer records for periodic, applicable earning fees and distribute payments with necessary support to process following organizational guidelines.

Skill Sets:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 1+ year of related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to critical issues and concerns.
  • Professional and effective in communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g. Microsoft Excel and other relevant software).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
