We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Inside Sales to serve as a pivotal business partner, driving efficiency and fostering collaboration within our sales and operations teams. Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Streamline Operations: Lead the integration of Inside Sales and Rental Coordinators into a unified department to enhance efficiency, improve communication, and provide a seamless customer experience.
- Unified Team Leadership: Oversee a newly combined team of Inside Sales & Rental Coordinators, fostering collaboration and synergy to drive sales growth and optimize rental service management.
- Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborative Culture: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Skill Enhancement: Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Proactive Sales Initiatives: Implement and oversee proactive lead generation strategies, including outbound calling campaigns, to drive new business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with Regional Sales Managers to execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and marketing, to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Process Optimization and Efficiency:
- Workflow Streamlining : Evaluate existing sales processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Sales Automation: Implement sales automation tools and technologies to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce sales policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their goals.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor department performance against targets and KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
- Metrics Implementation: Implement performance metrics and dashboards to track individual and team performance effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in inside sales management, with a track record of driving results and exceeding targets.
