Senior Health Data Scientist

Inovalon Inc., seeks a Senior Health Data Scientist for 1 opening.

Summary of Duties:

1. Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets using analytical, statistical, and programming skills.
2. Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies.
3. Conduct market research, discovery sessions and advanced analyses to understand the needs of customers in order to find product market fit.
4. Perform patient targeting and other business outcomes, using sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, cutting edge deep learning/machine learning (DL/ML) and data models to automate business processes, optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, patient targeting and other business outcomes.
5. Deploy and deliver AI products or product features using the Working Backwards approach as user requirements and interests, such as embedded algorithm into existing product or deploy as cloud application programming interface (API).
6. Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
7. Coordinate with different functional teams (both internal and external) to implement models and perform product maintenance.
8. Research cutting-edge tested or applied AI algorithms and develop technical strategies to update current AI products.
9. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field of study plus at least 3 years of experience in job offered or any Programmer Analyst, or related job titles.
2. At least 3 years of experience with:
1. Modern machine/deep learning frameworks (including TensorFlow, Keras, and XGBoost);
2. Neural networks and NLP;
3. Machine learning;
4. Python, SQL, and regular expressions;
5. Cloud deployment and web development on AWS and Microsoft Azure;
6. LaTeX documenting;
7. C++/C#, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
