Senior Project Manager – (Rail Transit)
Location – Los Angeles, CA
Salary – $250,000 + attractive package
THE BUSINESS
Hamilton Mayer International is working in partnership with a well-renowned, globally esteemed market leader within the Construction and Infrastructure sector across the US. Identified as one of the top 10 ENR contractors, the organisation is seeking to strengthen their delivery team for a prestigious multi-billion dollar rail programme in Los Angeles.

THE ROLE
* Overall responsibility for the delivery of various underground stations and wider transit infrastructure focusing on top down construction.
* Implement Zero Accident Philosophy, and other Environmental, Safety and Health methods to ensure everyone on the project goes home safely every day and stakeholders’ considerations are met.
* Ensure procedures are in accordance with the JV Consortium and fall in line with all relevant contract methodology.
* Knowledge of the rail industry with the ability to lead a portfolio of $500m worth of work will be advantageous.
* Provides full support to enable suitable and sufficient engineering deliverables are prepared, reviewed and issued in a timely manner.
* Will be the single most important point of contact on a project with overall responsibility and accountability.
KEY EXPERIENCE
* 10 years relevant successful experience of Management in Transportation/Infrastructure Construction ideally delivering underground stations and rail transit work.
* Relevant experience of metro rail engineering ideally working for a contractor in the US. That said, if you are a US expat and would like to come back from overseas, this opportunity could be an ideal fit.
* Comprehensive understanding of environmental, safety and health regulations and their implementation.
* Ability to fluently communicate at all levels.
* Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline.
* Membership of an appropriate Professional Institution.
