Beacon Behavioral is one of the largest and most established behavioral health programs in Louisiana. For over 25 years, Beacon employs caring staff at locations across southeast Louisiana: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Metairie, Alexandria, Slidell, Hammond, Bogalusa, Bunkie, Opelousas, and Lutcher. We currently provide inpatient programs, residential, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and traditional outpatient programs that provide therapy to those struggling with emotional disorders, substance abuse, and mental disorders. Our Private Practice operations have expanded to include Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Pittsburg. We will continue our growth with Beacon Behavioral Partners.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Oversees the organization's comprehensive incident reporting, complaints/grievances, and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.
2.Manages the development and operation of the organization's incident reporting platform and compliance hotline and works with the Chief Compliance Officer and designated outside legal counsel to resolve legal compliance issues and works with Human Resources to resolve employee-related issues, as appropriate.
3.Manages investigations of alleged violations of law, policies and procedures, and the Company's Code of Conducting in consultation with the Chief Compliance Officer.
4.Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing incident report documentation, statistics, and healthcare law/regulation and trends.
5.Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization's services and departments.
6.Reviews and assesses policies and procedures; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
7.Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
8.Reviews and analyzes metrics and data related to employee activity that could uncover fraudulent or unsafe behavior.
9.Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
10.Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective compliance communication and training program for the organization, partners, and affiliate entities.
11.Performs other duties as directed.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

7. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or closely related field of study.
2. Minimum three (3) years of job-related management experience.
3. HIPAA compliance experience required.
4. Experience with Behavioral Health regulatory laws and guidelines preferred.
