Marina Dockhand

Description of the role:

The Marina Dockhand is responsible for carrying out various tasks and duties related to the operation and maintenance of the marina. This includes assisting marina guests, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the marina, and ensuring the safety of all visitors and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist marina guests with docking, fueling, and other boating needs
• Maintain a clean and organized marina environment
• Ensure the safety of all visitors and staff by enforcing marina rules and regulations
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marina equipment and facilities
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
• Assist with special events and marina activities as needed
• Operate marina equipment such as forklifts and boat lifts

Requirements:

• Prior experience in the hospitality or marina industry preferred
• Knowledge of boating safety and basic maintenance techniques
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and outdoor environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
