IT Infrastructure Operations Director

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Infrastructure Operations Director. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for data center management, system monitoring, server and storage engineering, production services, and service desk operations. You will provide strategic direction, manage team decisions, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center operations to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Manage day-to-day IT operations to improve infrastructure costs and end-user satisfaction
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
• Ensure adherence to ITIL framework policies and procedures
• Participate in IT strategy planning activities
• Drive resolution of high-severity IT infrastructure outages
• Manage IT service delivery performance metrics and key performance indicators
• Collaborate with other IT infrastructure leaders to optimize service design and delivery
• Participate in the development of design strategy and best practices
• Hire, train, and manage talent to meet long-term business goals
• Provide accurate and timely audits and reports for management

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in relevant field
• Minimum 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience
• Strong project management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, cloud technology, and ITIL framework
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure and service delivery
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Location

This position may require up to 50% travel.
