Description

The UCLA Department of Neurology seeks a part-time application programmer to support a Research Only, which provides information about clinical operations to leadership and faculty members. The department will soon be starting a phase 3 NIH-funded clinical trial which involves software work. Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Writing new software used in the treatment of patients with neurological diseases.
  2. Updating old software.
  3. Managing several large and complex databases.
  4. Working with software engineers at other US Universities.
  5. Assisting with batch email sending to trial personnel around the US.
  6. Creating initial databases and providing regular updates to the Clinical Research Team summarizing database content.
  7. Overseeing and performing database modifications as needed.

Salary Range: $76,200 - $158,800/Annually

Qualifications

All Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience working in software engineering.
  • Advanced Programming Language.
  • Experience using VB.Net, OpenGL, ASP.Net, Javascript, CSS, HTML, APIs from VSee, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Dreamweaver.
