Life Enrichment Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director

Position Summary: Responsible for creating and implementing community activity programs that safely and appropriately engage residents in compliance with regulations. Manages resident welcome and community lifestyle through fostering an inclusive environment. Facilitates transportation to appointments and events.

1. Enthusiasm for life and adding value to the lives of others.
2. High School diploma/GED required.
3. NCCAP (Activities Professional) certification required.
4. At least 2 years of experience working with seniors in designing and executing programming.
5. Organized with demonstrated follow-through on details.
6. Strive for excellence with previous experience focusing on customer service.
7. Demonstrated success in planning programming to engage residents.
8. Ability to influence others in cooperation to attain goals.
9. Lead by example in practicing good judgment in relation to confidentiality.
10. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities with success and find joy.
11. Great communication skills to interact with various customers in conversations and writing.
12. Ability to establish confidence and trust.
13. Desire to act as an owner in day-to-day decision making and problem solving as well as accountability.
14. Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office and the ability to learn SBL specific software.
15. Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
