Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies.
The work model for the role is: remote
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings, Smart Power and Distribution Solution divisions in the US.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic fleet accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for our business.
*Understand the specific needs of fleet accounts and propose customized grid-to-charger solutions that include ABB Electrification solutions.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of EV charging infrastructure.
*Develop growth strategy for Fleet, including prioritizing target accounts, leveraging insights from marketing and building knowledge of customer's potential and status of electrification.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in account management, preferably in the electrification, EV charging or fleet management industry.
  • Strong understanding of the EV market, charging infrastructure, and grid integration.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $92,500 and $171,500 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
