Our collections are imported from the best mills in Italy, Portugal, and beyond, many of which have a history of textiles that spans generations. In our workroom based in Dallas, Texas, we still hand-cut, sew and embroider many of our cherished pieces.
A Day in the Life as a Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Team is a close-knit team led by the Warehouse Lead and housed at our Corporate Office in Dallas, TX. The primary role of a Warehouse Associate (non-exempt) at Peacock Alley is to fulfill the daily workload to support business priorities. This entails replenishing inventory to maintain warehouse stock and operating a forklift to unload inbound freight containers.
What Are We Looking For?
If you have worked in a warehouse environment and have experience driving a forklift, using a cherry picker, understanding basic mathematics, and having an eye for detail, this position may be perfect for you!
In the demanding world of shipping, we are looking for someone who is adaptable to change and willing to see a task through from beginning to end. Additionally, we are looking for a person with great precision in detail while maintaining integrity and self-awareness.
Experience: two years of similar or related experience.
Education: a high school education or GED.
How is the Work Schedule?
The Warehouse Associate position is full-time, typically working 40 hours weekly. The schedule is 2:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., 4 days a week, with Friday-Sunday off, in most cases.
