Job Description
The Director/Senior Director of Channel Marketing at DDN will play a critical role in building and executing a comprehensive channel marketing strategy that drives pipeline growth and revenue outcomes through key partners. This role is essential for establishing and enhancing relationships with strategic partners, including Nvidia, Supermicro, Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, and major server vendors and resellers.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Bay Area and possess deep experience in channel marketing within the technology sector, particularly with an emphasis on AI, cloud, and data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement a channel marketing strategy focused on driving revenue through key partners such as Nvidia, Supermicro, Lenovo, Dell, Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, and key resellers like CDW and WWT.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities within the partner ecosystem to maximize DDN’s market presence and revenue.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing strategies with partner objectives and business goals.
- Partner Engagement & Enablement:
- Build strong relationships with partner marketing teams, ensuring DDN is top-of-mind for joint marketing and sales initiatives.
- Develop partner-specific marketing programs that include co-branded content, joint events, webinars, and demand generation campaigns.
- Provide ongoing training and enablement to partner sales and marketing teams to effectively position and sell DDN solutions.
- Pipeline Growth & Revenue Acceleration:
- Drive pipeline growth and accelerate revenue outcomes by developing and executing marketing campaigns that target joint solutions with Nvidia, Supermicro, and cloud partners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for co-selling and upselling through channel partners.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of channel marketing programs, adjusting strategies to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with revenue goals.
- Joint Marketing Initiatives:
- Lead the planning and execution of joint marketing initiatives, including digital marketing campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), events, and partner-specific promotions.
- Leverage DDN’s strong relationships with Nvidia Cloud providers, server vendors, and resellers to create high-impact marketing activities that resonate with target audiences.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, partner strategies, and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on how to capitalize on market opportunities through channel marketing efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with DDN’s corporate marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and field marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to channel marketing.
- Collaborate with partner account managers and sales leaders to ensure alignment on goals and execution of joint strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in channel marketing, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships in the technology sector.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of the AI, cloud, and data infrastructure markets, with experience working with partners such as Nvidia, Supermicro, and major cloud providers.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans while executing short-term initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Location: Remote in the Bay Area, California.
Salary range: $217,446.00 - $271,807
