JOB DESCRIPTION:
Field IT Technicians are the first line of support for multiple field locations. These locations will be in both North Carolina and South Carolina. They will be responsible for installation, configuration, support, and proactive maintenance of systems hardware, software and networking infrastructure. They build relationships, exhibit empathy, and provide a high-level of support to their sites, keep them running in top shape.
Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of support on end-user requests for hardware and software, for all end-users in the USA
  • Configure and set up new installations of car wash Point of Sale (PoS) and Tunnel Control at locations in their region
  • Configure new computers, mobile phones, and other hardware for users
  • Configure VoIP desk and mobile phones
  • Install and diagnose Camera systems
  • Install and support Office 365, Remote access software, and various other applications
  • Networking cabling, switches, and Internet connections in the various offices and carwash outlets
  • Proactively monitor and keep your region's car washes operational, acting swiftly to bring a downed site back up
  • Actively communicate with District Managers and site staff to ensure awareness of your support or maintenance activities
  • Be an advocate for ICWG's ticketing system, ensuring that all work that comes in has an associated ticket for tracking and communication purposes
  • Implement IT infrastructure (software & hardware) projects
  • Propose innovative ideas and solutions to ensure technology enables the business to work more efficiently, either from a cost or productivity perspective
  • Ensure the IT employee & security policy is followed throughout the company, to ensure successful IT audit
  • Ensure employees have the most appropriate technology to enable them to perform their function the most efficiently possible
Qualifications
  • 1+ years installing, managing, and supporting Microsoft platforms and associated equipment while interacting with end-users on a daily basis
  • Able to learn quickly and think critically to solve problems
  • Ability to see the bigger picture whilst maintaining an attention to detail
  • Responsive to internal customers and able to explain technology in simple terms
  • Approachable, showing modesty and patience towards users and their problems
  • Ability to integrate easily and work closely in a small team
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel to washes across the United States to help with different regions
  • Experience in phone communication systems, and mobile platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 to be able to answer common end-user questions and issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems networking
  • Experience of managing and monitoring backup systems and disaster recovery strategies
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and takes initiative to improve everything they work on
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within your district

$39,700.00 - $74,600.00

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
