Job Requirements / Description
The purpose of the Support Hub Director is to maximize GFM’s impact globally through sound business management, financial oversight, and human resource management. This ministry and business role is full time and support-raising is required. The Support Hub Director has the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications
- Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values and statement of faith and identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- BA/BS degree in related field
- Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets, monthly reporting, and summarize outcomes
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with program and staff supervision
- Experience in project and budget management, human resources, and/or accounting
- Experience establishing and developing community, donor, and employee relationships
- Must be ready to experience significant missions training and discipleship through GFM’s Missionary Training School (in person sessions or online)
- Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others
- Must display advanced interpersonal and communication skills (Gmail, Slack, etc.)
- Must function well both independently and in a team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement GFM’s strategic plan by managing GFM services, activities, finances and community relationships
- Maintain and analyze all financial records while overseeing program cost spending, manage budget, and report revenue and program outcomes
- Oversee advancement and fundraising efforts
- Ensure assets like land, vehicles, buildings, maintenance, taxes, insurance, and paperwork are completed and submitted when needed
- Ensure current certifications/memberships with Guidestar, ECFA, MissioNexus, SOE, etc.
- Track individual support to make sure that staff is fully funded
- Support the needs of the Executive Director and Base Directors
- Provide support for the hiring, supervising, training, evaluation, and firing of Support Hub staff
- Work with the HR department to ensure that all risk, insurance, and crisis management policies are updated, being implemented, or renewed to cover any and all exposures
- Represent GFM well by building and maintaining relationships with other missions organizations
- Help the executive director with developing the board of directors and sending quarterly financial reports
- Help with the development of HR systems, processes, job descriptions, key performance indicators, etc.
