About the Department:

The Health Sciences (HSCI) Department is multidisciplinary. Our students learn the ways that various factors affect the health of individuals and communities. Our professional programs are founded in the liberal arts as well as the physical and behavioral sciences.


Position:

The department of Health Sciences at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in the Health Administration program at the rank of Assistant Professor.


The successful candidate, depending on individual expertise, will teach and have research interests in healthcare finance, economics, data analytics, or informatics. Based on program needs, other potential areas include: operations, organization behavior, strategic planning, policy, ethics, or other healthcare administration related areas.


Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in healthcare administration, health services research, healthcare management, business administration, health policy or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Candidates in the process of completing a Doctoral degree will be considered, but degree must be conferred before August 20, 2025.
  • College or University-level teaching experience or potential to teach in-person, hybrid, and/or online courses.
