Specification Manager (Cyprus)

We are now looking for another team mate to join us in our Cyprus Headquarters as a Specification Manager .

Your core responsibilities include actions such as to initiate and maintain contact with architects, engineers, designers, industrial house manufacturers, main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, and dealers, to positively influence the decisions regarding the specification of KNAUF Drywall- and Wet- Systems . Responsible for Cyprus market .

What you’ll be doing:

1. Provide technical expertise and advice to new and existing customer bases in order to develop a close long-term relationship that ensures they continue/increase levels of business with KNAUF Drywall- and Wet- Systems.
2. Identify and make contact with potential customers engaged on target construction projects to secure specifications and contracts.
3. Produce designs, specifications, and details for architects, designers, and contractors to ensure that KNAUF Drywall- and Wet- Systems are specified.
4. Maintain close contact with Knauf Marketing Department to ensure that a strong brand presence is continued within target market.
5. If requested, monitor on-site construction in collaboration with the contractor to provide advice and solutions to problems encountered.
6. If requested, negotiate project technical terms with sub-contractors.
7. Provide solutions to design problems to the customer base that fully comply with accepted standards and industry codes of practice.
8. Provide representation and advice to professional bodies to further enhance Knauf’s profile and influence industry issues to Knauf’s benefit.
9. If necessary, provide technical assistance and training to the sales team to help them with particular customers and projects.
10. Provide market knowledge to loyal customers in order to increase their business and, thus, enhance our own business.
11. Research markets for ancillary products and make recommendations to support/complete the KNAUF Drywall- and Wet- Systems.

1. University degree in Engineering
2. Experience in sales, ideally in construction industry
3. Very good presentation skills and communication skills
4. Independent and self-motivated personality
5. Fluent English and Greek languages
