Business Systems Analyst – Accounting & Finance

LOCATION: Greater Los Angeles

Position Overview:

The Business Systems Analyst will support financial systems and applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline data and ensure accuracy. This role manages user accounts across business applications, conducting regular data mapping and validation. Responsibilities include customizing applications, maintaining data integrity, and providing user training and support.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive support for financial systems, including ERP and Treasury Management Systems.
  2. Customize applications to align with business needs and improve operational efficiency.
  3. Ensure data accuracy through mapping, validation, and quality control processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and streamline data integration.
  5. Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and manage permissions based on least privilege.
  6. Train end-users and troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with external vendors.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 4 years in business analysis or application management, preferably in real estate or financial services.
  2. Proficiency in ERP (e.g., Yardi), TMS (e.g., Gtreasury/Kyriba), and financial reporting systems (e.g., Dfin/Workiva).
  3. Advanced skills in SQL and Excel.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
