**Experience:** Less than 1 year required, direct patient care experience preferred
**License:** RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

**Job Description:**
- Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to ensure individualized patient care.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others for care setting and planning using methods like bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Use current clinical practice standards in practice.
- Coordinate documentation and delivery of safe, quality patient care through effective communication with diverse, interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in teamwork and collaboration promoting recruitment, retention, and shared governance.
- Engage in performance improvement activities and nursing research to promote evidence-based practice.
- Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum and collaborate with care managers.
- Optimize technology use to support clinical care.
- Support efficient use of human and material resources.
