The Massage Therapist provides quality massage services to clients of Fauquier Health System.Assists clients in preparation for treatment, i.e., dressing, positioning, and equipment.Assesses clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion.Utilizes complementary aids, i.e., infrared lamps, wet compresses, stones, ice, heat, in order to promote clients’ recovery, relaxation, and well-being.Develops and proposes client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are recommended.Who We Are:Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more.
