Position Description:
Client is seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronic Technician to join our Electrical Engineering Lab.
In this role, you will support the design, development, fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and repair of complex electronic products and support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
  • Fabricate, assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
  • Conduct testing and generate detailed report data.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
  • Rework and repair circuit boards containing surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Fabricate electrical parts from sketches and drawings, preparing samples for testing.
  • Operate necessary equipment to fulfill job duties while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Skills Required:
  • Proficient use of electronic test equipment, machine tools, and hand tools.
  • Experience in fabrication, assembly, testing, and inspection per engineering specifications.
  • Strong ability to work within a team setting.
  • Experience in assembling and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Skills Preferred:
  • Proficient use of complex fabrication equipment and ability to work to precise tolerances and standards.
  • Assist engineers in the design and development of new electronic systems, cabling, and test equipment.
  • Develop and prepare schematics, design specifications, and parts lists, providing recommendations as needed.
  • Review designs and specifications of test equipment for adequacy.
  • Conduct tests or experiments requiring setup, operation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of various equipment.
  • Analyze engineering/test data and perform calculations as necessary.
  • Create test procedures, conduct tests, record and analyze data, and write reports.
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-610 manufacturing and quality requirements.


Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician performing related tasks in either a production or prototype environment.
