Laboratory Technician

Position: Lab Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6 month contract

Description:

This job will include lab work, measuring accurately with scale, operating somewhat complex equipment while following safety and work instructions, keeping work place clean, good reading, testing and observational skills. This is a coatings laboratory.

You will conduct a variety of technical tasks including the preparation of laboratory scale coatings and testing samples.

Additional responsibilities may include analyzing basic formulations, performing calculations, applying coatings, and testing a range of technologies and methods.

Required Skills:

• Two years of post-secondary education in field of specialty; however, equivalent education and experience combined will be considered
• Basic understanding of Word and Excel

Desired Skills:

• Previous laboratory experience
