Financial Analyst

Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will work with our Financial Planning and Analysis team and others in the organization to analyze data, identify and monitor variances and trends, and recommend actions to management. This role will be responsible for administering variable compensation plans, tracking of financial performance, creating budgets and forecasts, and creating and generating reports.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:

• Administer and review biweekly and monthly commissions and bonuses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
• Assist with the implementation of a new compensation system, including testing and training staff.
• Improve existing compensation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications of compensation decisions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Assist in the evaluation of business performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the annual budgeting process by providing detailed analysis and insights.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, OSHA and other safety regulations, and all state mandated regulations.

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1 - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or related role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with internal and external deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with variable compensation and HRIS systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly.
• Project management skills.
