This is a full-time hybrid role for a Wealth Management Advisor. The Wealth Management Advisor will work primarily from the Walnut Creek office with flexibility for remote work. The role involves providing financial planning advice, retirement planning, investment management, and other wealth management services to clients. 


This is primarily not a business development role.


Position is currently hybrid remote.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with existing firm clients to develop and implement customized wealth planning strategies. 
  • Manage multiple levels of client relationships within a team environment.
  • Convey the firm’s investment philosophy and strategy.
  • Perform regular Portfolio Review meetings with clients to discuss their strategy.
  • Address and research financial planning questions (e.g. Tax issues, cost basis, estate planning, insurance, stock options).
  • Develop financial planning reports (e.g. Retirement projections, income analysis, education funding).
  • Contribute to expanding client relationships.
  • Strengthen client relationships for asset retention and aggregation.
  • Contribute to the team and to meeting company growth goals. 

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in financial planning and retirement planning.
  • Experience in investments and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of finance and wealth management services.
  • Experience in financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro & WealthStudios, Holistiplan, Salesforce) a plus
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education/Experience Requirements: 

  • College degree 
  • 7+ years of financial planning and/or investment management experience 
  • CFP Designation required. Will consider candidates who have passed the CFP Exam and are in the process of completing the CFP experience requirement. 
  • Additional designations a benefit (CPA, EA, JD)
