Product Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position that can be performed out of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MI, MN, MT, NC, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA
We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to oversee Avolve’s product marketing function and build out our product communications, engagement, and insights. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for researching our market landscape, product positioning messaging, supporting all product updates and launches, and creating customer communications to ensure they stay informed. The PMM will work closely with the product management team, so a track record of effective partnership and collaboration with product is highly valued. Writing experience is also essential as the role also includes product content creation, from blogs to sales enablement materials. At Avolve we work closely with a variety of external partners and the product marketing manager will also own product-related partner communications.
The ideal candidate has the ability to translate product features into business benefits, clear and creative writing skills, and a can-do attitude. As part of a small marketing team, this person will take the role of planning, as well as hands-on doing all aspects of product marketing. This is a remote position open to candidates in the US. The Product Marketing Manager reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:

• Research and develop positioning for Avolve’s product portfolio
• Own and manage the content on our website’s product pages
• Monitor and share competitive product insights
• Own the relationship between the product management and marketing teams
• Compose product updates for internal and external audiences and manage product launch communications and timelines
• Plan and develop sales enablement materials to support our product offerings
• Engage our partner community, including providing materials for partners to resell our products and partner communications related to product updates
• Manage and mentor members of the marketing team

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of product marketing focused experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company. Public sector experience desired but not essential.
• Ability to successfully manage product marketing activities
• Track record of collaborating with other team members as well as working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with requirement to write copy and use email creation tools
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities
• Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with Hubspot or other marketing automation and project planning software, ideal but not essential

Compensation :

• $80k-$85k annual salary
• Salary may be adjusted based on experience and geographic location
