Job Responsibilities: Under the supervision of a physician, responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting in performing assessments/ treatments. Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, phlebotomy, and documentation of patient care. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, follow-up/outreach, data entry, and patient registration. Knowledge of VFC and vaccine schedules. Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must have the following:
o Mature, self-directed, well organized, quick learner, well spoken, outgoing personality and team player
o At least 1-2 years experience as a medical assistant in Pediatric Office, no entry level
o Medical assistant certification
o Excellent computer skills
o Experience with electronic medical records and preferably with E-Clinical Works
o Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
o Available evening hours and weekend hours
