About Us

We're a team of engineers, clinicians, and operators redesigning how healthcare fundamentally works for the 80 million uninsured and under-insured Americans. We started with a simple vertically integrated primary and urgent care health plan through a network of nurse practitioners that come directly to members virtually or through in-home visits. We designed our plan to make high-quality concierge care accessible to everyone.

The role

As a Vitable senior full-stack software engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the clinical and product teams to design, architect, and build features within our patient, clinical, and employer applications. You'll develop and own high-quality code across all levels of the stack while you create solutions to complex problems faced by our customers (Members, Clinicians, and Employers).

Our current tech stack is:

  • Server: Python (Django), Postgres, deployed on AWS

  • Web: VueJS

  • Mobile: Flutter

Responsibilities

  • Build our core engineering infrastructure, including new product features and enhancements.
  • Work closely across different business functions to craft solutions to pressing problems.
  • Empower thousands, and eventually millions, to access robust, affordable healthcare experiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong sense of ownership and comfort in driving product development from design to implementation.
  • Ability to work with business and clinical teams to build sustainable solutions.
  • Comfortable with multiple languages/frameworks, including Python, Javascript, and Dart.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining production services.
  • Ability to research new technologies and implement them.
  • Familiarity with developer best practices and contribution to team improvement.

Benefits

  • Full Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • A generous equity plan
  • Wellbeing + Learning & Growth reimbursements
  • Quarterly kickoff Team Offsites
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Macbook and any other hardware you need
  • Fun, creative, and collaborative work environment

At Vitable, we care deeply about building with empathy and are committed to hiring people from diverse backgrounds.

If you're excited about what we're building and think there might be a mutual fit, please apply.

Our Mission : To build the most delightful healthcare experience and make it accessible to everyone.
