The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the gathering and reporting of financial data to management, investors, and lenders.

CAMS provides quality, competitively priced project and asset management, commercial, and operations services to the power generation, E&P, and midstream sectors of the energy industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to management and investors.
  2. Work closely with commercial, accounting, and operations staff to:
  3. Prepare and improve upon operating budgets, financial models, and forecasts.
  4. Support and ensure contractual compliance.
  5. Guide strategic decision making.
  6. Analyze and present results based on comparisons to budgets, forecasts, or other goals.
  7. Preparation of ad hoc reports and analysis as requested.
  8. Assist accounting with preparation of quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proficient in spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  2. Knowledge of extracting data from financial applications.
  3. Sound analytical skills to compile, dissect, and interpret financial and operational information.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; must be a self-starter and take the initiative in completing projects.
  5. Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and capable of delivering accurate, quality results in a timely, consistent, and professional manner.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
  8. Minimum of 3 years of experience.
  9. Experience in the power generation or real estate industry is a plus.
