BA Global Talent is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a strong understanding of heavy equipment and a proven track record in sales team leadership to work on-site, supervising the sales team by territory (Montana, Washington, Vancouver, and Portland area) The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive sales growth through effective team management and customer engagement.

Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of outside sales representatives, including hiring, setting targets, and providing accountability KPIs.
- Review existing sales programs and develop new strategies to enhance team performance.
- Train and support the sales team, ensuring they achieve sales targets.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and support existing clients.
- Evaluate customers' needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitors' services, prices, auctions, and sales.
- Utilize CRM software to manage daily contacts and follow-ups.
- Travel 3 to 5 days per week to support the sales staff and attend auctions, trade shows, and training sessions.
- Assist with equipment appraisals.
- Be on-site during auctions to network with the team and assist with auction needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure items are featured appropriately.
- Present status updates at weekly management meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales with a strong track record of success.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Monday.com, or similar), and Outlook.
- Previous experience with heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and/or equipment rentals.
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
On-Site: Montana, Washington, Vancouver, and Portland areas
