Description
A critically acclaimed and James Beard Award Winning Oyster Bar/Seafood Restaurant is seeking an Executive Chef to join their expanding team. All applicants must have experience in fine dining and French technique. You must be able to carefully serve and consistently select fresh oysters and adhere to the fast pace of the work place. Also, must be able to maintain the restaurant's needs and cleanliness throughout the shift. The work is fast paced and offers a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of seafood. They are committed to unique, respectfully sourced and harvested products, and are technique driven. They are seeking individuals who are committed to excellence and working at the highest levels.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience as an sous chef/chef de Cuisine in a high volume restaurant venue
Food Handler's certificate
Certificate or degree in Culinary Arts preferred
Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with your team
Management experience in a kitchen and organizational skills are a must
