Activities Director

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Activities Director to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents through engaging and stimulating recreational programs. If you have a passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a diverse range of recreational programs to cater to the interests and abilities of residents
• Coordinate social events, outings, and activities within the community
• Collaborate with staff to integrate activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program effectiveness
• Ensure activities comply with all regulations and guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, assisted living, or long-term care settings
• Knowledge of aging issues counseling and memory care practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Background in recreational therapy, social work, or related field is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
