As an Azion Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new customers through telephone contact, email, and other channels. Your main responsibility will be to contact companies in which we currently do not operate, focusing on expanding the company's sales and supplying the other Azion sales teams with new opportunities.

As a BDR, you have an entrepreneurial, resilient profile with excellent oral and written communication. You are prepared to deal with customer objections and are proactive in pursuing results.

Our Account Executives are responsible for the sales cycle – from prospecting to closing projects with new customers (hunting) as well as with existing customers (upsell).

As an Azion Account Executive, you have a technical profile and commercial experience in Cloud Computing, Hosting, Security, IT Consulting, or E-commerce, and you are prepared to deal with customer objections while managing negotiations effectively.

At Azion, you will have a portfolio of Edge Computing products with competitive advantages and a team of Professional Services capable of implementing solutions efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess an open mind, entrepreneurial spirit, and eagerness to make things happen.
  • Good interpersonal skills, leadership, proactivity, and resilience.
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally with stakeholders (account executives, marketing, sales operations, teammates).
  • Enjoy technology and become an expert in edge computing and account identification.
  • Motivated to engage with numerous prospects daily via phone and email.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with sales concepts: sales funnel, inside sales, follow-up, etc.
  • Excellent organization and information management within CRM.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Consistent experience with corporate sales.
  • Experience in prospecting and market development.
  • Experience in customer service through remote sales.
  • Ongoing degree in IT, Business with emphasis in IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge in Solutions sales methodology.
  • Experience in corporate sales in the IT area.
  • Experience using CRM/Hubspot and contact research tools.
  • Experience in Cloud or Edge Computing deployment and migration projects.
  • Understanding of technology and network operations.
