Our established law firm in Alabama is seeking an Insurance Litigation Lawyer with 3-5 years of experience who has passed the Alabama bar. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a well-respected legal practice and grow into a partner position within 3-6 years. The successful candidate will handle complex insurance litigation cases, representing primarily corporate clients.

The successful candidate must sit for and pass the California bar.


Responsibilities
  1. Legal Representation: Provide expert legal counsel to clients involved in insurance litigation matters, which may include cases related to coverage disputes, bad faith claims, personal injury, property damage, and other insurance-related issues.
  2. Case Management: Manage a caseload of insurance litigation matters, ensuring that cases are handled efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with legal standards and regulations.
  3. Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to build strong cases, anticipate potential legal issues, and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  4. Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships through clear and responsive communication, updating clients on case developments and providing legal advice.
  5. Courtroom Representation: Appear in court to represent clients during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings. Present persuasive arguments and evidence to support clients' cases.
  6. Negotiation: Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  7. Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal instruments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  8. Multiple Jurisdictions: Opportunity to appear and practice in multiple federal and state court jurisdictions, including California.
  9. Business Development: Contribute to the firm's growth and development by cultivating client relationships and participating in networking and business development activities.
