The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is an essential function that delivers HR support and guidance to their client group and is considered an extension of the business. The Sr. HRBP serves as a first responder and business partner to requests from employees and leaders and acts as a key consultant for all things people-related. The Sr. HRBP provides hands-on facilitation of programs and projects designed to support employee development, organizational improvement and overall Human Resources initiatives and goals. They will also take lead on high-impact HR initiatives and help build infrastructure in the HR team. This position is located at 730 21st Street, Denver, CO 80205 and reports to the HR Business Partner Director.

Essential Job Functions- Partners with leaders and employees to educate, support and guide actions. Assists employees and leaders with the interpretation and correct application of company policies, procedures and programs while exercising the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Provide resolution to first tier employee relations issues in assigned area and partner with HR Leadership and Legal for ER issues requiring more complex solutions.
- Provide coaching and counseling to leaders on company policies and procedures. Work with Employee Relations Manager to determine and recommend practices to establish a people-centric environment. Provide coaching and assistance in the areas of disciplinary action, resolution of workplace disputes, performance issues, and terminations.
- Partner with recruiters to proactively understand business landscape, hiring needs, and any staffing challenges.
- Partner with the appropriate teams to collect and capture turnover data, identify trends and work with leaders on retention plans.
- Key lead on high impact projects such as retention initiatives, leadership development program build, Workforce Planning rollout, etc.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of industry and related HR issues to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Deliver training on HR policies and procedures to a diverse audience.

Qualifications Summary- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field from four-year college or university preferred.
- At least 7 years of human resources generalist or HRBP experience.
- Certificate in Human Resources Management or PHR preferred.
- Proven history of rolling out programs to support development, retention, and engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations and executive coaching.
- Comfortable with facilitating training classes in both in-person and virtual settings.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning.
