We are seeking a part-time dedicated and dynamic individual to fill a dual role focusing on RFP Response and Regulatory tasks and providing General Sales support. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional writing skills, and a proactive approach to sales support and business development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
RFP Response and Regulatory - target of ~50% or 10h/w
- RFP regulatory review/preparation of responses
- Support writing smart, competitive, and interesting proposals that WIN!
- Optimizing our proposal process with efficiency and quality in mind
- Work alongside the sales and marketing team on formulating a winning strategy for each pitch
- Comprehend complex documents and industry best practices
- Actualize written proposals that comply with regulatory criteria as well as show exceptional skill in proofing and editing, researching, and formatting documents
General Sales - target ~50% or ~10h/w
- Assist the training program with registrations and campaigns
- Log all activities in SalesForce (or HubSpot)
- Attend community-based events for sales support
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams
- Create Kick Off pages for new account wins
- Support Invoicing, AR, and out of process financial tasks and reports
- Support of shipping and inventory management for marketing events
- Work closely with sales team to maintain obligations of MAS schedules, federal, state, and other contract vehicles: this includes but is not limited to state registrations, monthly reporting, renewal tracking, annual reports for state registrations/registered agent
- Assist with outreach to and tracking of new partners for MWVDBE for proposals.
Outbound Strategy - as needed
- Curate lists of target accounts; use lists of Ideal Customer Profiles and identify additional leads and like accounts
- Obtain the name and current email addresses and websites lists based on ideal roles (CMO, CIO)
- Conduct a high volume of emails to prospects in order to set meetings for a Senior Account Manager
- Verify lists are unique
- Work closely with the Senior Account Manager and marketing to sharpen your business development skills and business acumen
- Create new business opportunities for Promet and the Senior Account Manager from the target prospect lists
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of RFP processes and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent writing, proofing, and editing skills.
- Proficiency in SalesForce or HubSpot.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in sales support, financial tasks, and inventory management is a plus.
