Join HDR during Summer 2025 for an internship in our Transportation Business Group focusing on CAD.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of CAD Intern, we'll count on you to:
* Collaborate on CAD design for transportation projects, producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
* Support in CAD reviews, quantity estimation, cost estimates, and report generation.
* Maintain organized documentation, coordinate with engineers, and stay updated on industry standards and software changes.
* Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Preference given to local/regional candidates
- Knowledge of Bentley Microstation and OpenRoads software
- A good working knowledge of producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Attention to detail a must
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
