Description
This is a combined Timekeeping/Staffing/Kronos expert role. In collaboration with Nursing Leadership, the Lead Staffing Coordinator processes payroll/time data in accordance with labor contracts to partner with systems payroll to produce complete and accurate payroll checks for the staff supported by this service. Other responsibilities include all payroll close activities. The Lead Staffing Coordinator works hybrid (virtual and on-site) with ministry leadership to ensure adequate staffing levels for hospital departments across ministries within Oregon, Washington, and Montana in the Central Division. In addition to the staffing and timekeeping responsibilities, this position will act as a resource for questions related to Kronos functionality which will promote standardization of best practices throughout the region and provides follow-up and support to customer needs. Utilizes multiple software applications in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask and continuously reevaluate competing priorities.
Required Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Associate's Degree Healthcare, business, or related field Or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 years Background in staffing/scheduling or other hospital experience.
1 year Kronos experience in last five years, OR 6 months of Kronos experience in the last 12 months.
1 year staffing/scheduling experience within Kronos in last five years, OR 6 months of staffing/scheduling experience within Kronos in the last 12 months.
Kronos time/attendance, scheduling/staffing experience.
1 year Computer application and database management experience
1 year Customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year timekeeping/payroll experience within Kronos in last five years, OR 6 months of timekeeping/payroll experience within Kronos in the last 12 months.
1 year Basic knowledge of medical staffing or scheduling terminology
