Chemical process control engineer

I am currently recruiting for a controls engineer to work on chemical process projects for a green technology start up who are based in the Houston, Texas, area. This would suit a candidate who is comfortable working on Allen-Bradley PLCs, and has a background in a sector such as petrochemicals or commercial chemicals.

The role is based in Houston on a hybrid working model. The base salary for this role is in the region of $100k to $120k, and they offer equity and health coverage on top. There will also be some short international travel trips to meet customers so you must be able to travel freely.

The role:

• Strong knowledge of control systems for fluid/gas handling systems
• Allen-Bradley PLC programming
• Background in oil and gas, chemicals, or petrochemicals would be beneficial
• HMI
• SCADA
• Chemical process knowledge
