Escrow Officer - Los Angeles

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Escrow Officer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for managing the escrow process for real estate transactions, maintaining close communication with clients, realtors, and agents, and ensuring a smooth closing experience. The ideal candidate is bilingual, has an established book of business, and can navigate complex transactions with precision and professionalism. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with one of the largest real estate teams in the country and manage external clients as well.

Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of escrow closings, including opening new files, preparing escrow instructions, reviewing contracts, and facilitating communication between parties.
  2. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing escrow transactions.
  3. Manage the closing process by reviewing title commitments, lender instructions, and sale agreements to guarantee smooth, timely closings.
  4. Coordinate with title companies, real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout the escrow process.
  5. Resolve title issues and handle complex transaction scenarios.
  6. Facilitate disbursement of escrow funds and prepare all necessary closing documentation.
  7. Take ownership of your book of business, with opportunities to manage your own clients and external agents.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Escrow Officer in real estate transactions (residential and/or commercial).
  2. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  3. Established book of business strongly preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of escrow software, title insurance, real estate law, and regulatory guidelines.
  5. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  6. Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, work independently, and maintain high attention to detail.
