Position Summary

The Sr Product Manager plays a pivotal role in product development and distributed cloud (XC) SaaS platform strategies. Equipped with expertise in SQL, PromQL, Grafana, Tableau, or equivalent tools, the Sr PM utilizes data to refine User Experience and prioritize product enhancements. This position requires an in-depth understanding of market dynamics in Application Security, Application Performance, Multi-Cloud Networking, and SaaS platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

SaaS Platform:

  1. Define the vision and strategy for the XC SaaS Platform, using analytics and data visualization tools.
  2. Oversee the product lifecycle of SaaS platform enhancement, from concept to delivery.
  3. Monitor platform health, user experience, and address challenges related to scalability, security, and performance.
  4. Create product performance dashboards using tools like Grafana and Tableau.
  5. Ensure accountability for product success and present data-backed findings during business reviews and QBRs.

Market Analysis:

  1. Position the XC SaaS Platform with a competitive edge in the market.
  2. Use SQL, PromQL, and raw data to evaluate customer usage and validate market demand.
  3. Conduct in-depth research to stay abreast of developments in Application Security, Application Performance, and Multi-Cloud Networking.

Customer Engagement & Feedback:

  1. Engage with customers to understand their business goals, constraints, and requirements.
  2. Utilize the Digital Adoption Platform to identify areas of improvement, increase revenue and reduce churn.
  3. Prioritize feature enhancements based on customer feedback and business value.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to make informed decisions on product backlog prioritization.
  2. Foster strong relationships with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
  3. Work with technical teams to ensure seamless product rollouts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

SaaS Management:

  1. Understand the challenges and opportunities intrinsic to managing and scaling SaaS platforms.
  2. Knowledgeable about SaaS pricing models, retention strategies, and onboarding techniques.

Stakeholder Management:

  1. Demonstrate strong leadership, negotiation, and persuasion capabilities.
  2. Effectively manage and navigate expectations from diverse stakeholder groups.
  3. Uphold a data-driven approach amidst a fast-paced, changing environment.

Analytical Skills:

  1. Proficient in SQL, PromQL, Grafana, Tableau, or equivalent.
  2. Ability to generate data-driven reports and transform complex data into actionable insights.
  3. Proven skills in data analytics and making data-backed decisions.

Qualifications

  1. BA/BS degree in a relevant field, MBA preferred.
  2. 10+ years in technical product management or a related domain.
  3. 3+ years in roles related to enterprise networking, security, cloud services/products, or IT operations.
  4. Proficient in business analytics and tools like Grafana, Tableau, SQL, and PromQL.
  5. Minimum of 3 years' experience analyzing products, markets, and customer dynamics using data analytics tools.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $168,960.00 - $253,440.00
