The AVP, Marketing Manager will play a significant role in building and growing the Americas Wealth business through the conception and development of marketing programs that have a direct and measurable impact on consideration and purchase. In this role, you will work collaboratively across the organization to deliver integrated campaigns across content, direct marketing, events, public relations, social media, search and digital. The successful candidate will have a deep interest in financial markets, trends and innovation as well as enjoy collaborating with colleagues to ensure alignment on objectives, strategy and positioning.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
This is an opportunity for a well-rounded and highly collaborative marketing professional with existing insights into executing and leading integrated marketing campaigns. You will deliver marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement and consideration of SPDR ETF products and work closely with members of the Marketing, Sales, Client Engagement, Business Intelligence and Model Portfolio Solutions teams as well as external agencies and partners.

This role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Create and drive client-relevant, scalable and repeatable integrated marketing programs and deliverables for key SPDR product suites with a focus on our model portfolio business
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders on key business objectives, client concerns and positioning our product solutions
  • Work closely with internal marketing, model portfolio and strategy teams to develop and enhance product materials, product positioning, capabilities messaging, thought leadership, digital experience and segmented communications
  • Grow and enhance the scope of the model subscription service
  • Support the ongoing monthly, quarterly and annual production of model collateral
  • Leverage automation and technology platforms to streamline the delivery of model content, enhance reporting and advance Sales enablement
  • Work closely with other marketing disciplines - digital, social, content, direct marketing, channel, measurement, advertising, events, etc. - to build cohesive and integrated marketing plans
  • Drive, measure and optimize the overall client experience for key SPDR product suites and the model portfolio business
  • Proactively raise ideas for marketing programs and best practices to enhance the model portfolio business
  • Maintain deep understanding of each Sales segment's distribution model, support needs, platform/home office opportunities and the competitive landscape
  • Maintain and communicate the status-including obstacles, deliverables and project progression-around a variety of project plans in support of marketing initiatives
  • Provide marketing leadership and Sales management with reporting metrics on all initiatives/programs/projects on a regular basis
  • Manage respective marketing budget against marketing plan

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree preferably with major in marketing or communications
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant marketing experience; previous financial services or product marketing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with investment concepts
  • Data-driven with a strong understanding of marketing technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently interact with and influence stakeholders across the firm
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate to drive results
  • Strategic thinker, creative in approach
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

LOCATION AND TRAVEL:
This position will be based in Boston. Some domestic travel may be required.
