Position: Senior SAP FICO Asset to Report Functional Consultant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Asset to Report Functional Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on implementing, optimizing, and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with a specialized focus on the Asset to Report process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asset accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting, along with a proven track record of successful SAP FICO implementations. This position involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to deliver innovative solutions that align with financial goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions with a focus on Asset to Report processes, including asset accounting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Conduct thorough analysis of current Asset to Report processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solutions to streamline financial workflows.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with finance and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- System Integration: Coordinate integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD) and external systems, ensuring consistency in financial data across the enterprise.
- Customization & Configuration: Configure SAP FICO functionalities related to Asset to Report, enhancing asset tracking, depreciation calculations, and reporting capabilities.
- Testing & Training: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, oversee UAT, and provide end-user training to support adoption of new processes.
- Reporting & Compliance: Design and implement custom financial reports to support business decision-making, ensuring compliance with internal and external financial regulations.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong focus on the Asset to Report cycle within a corporate or consulting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI/CO, specifically in asset accounting, financial close, and financial reporting.
- Project Experience: Proven experience in at least two full-cycle SAP FICO implementations, with expertise in configuring Asset to Report processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications: SAP FICO certification is preferred; additional certifications in asset accounting or relevant areas are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Experience in (specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail, financial services) is beneficial.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Languages: (Specify language requirements if applicable, e.g., proficiency in German is a plus.)
