JOb Description
- Inventory Management: Track and organize stock levels, perform regular stock checks, and update inventory management systems.
- Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate and schedule the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies.
- Documentation: Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and delivery orders.
- Coordination: Liaise with transportation companies and freight carriers to negotiate contracts and rates.
- Inspection: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality, documenting any discrepancies or damages.
- Compliance: Implement and adhere to logistics and supply chain safety guidelines and regulations.
- Experience: Foundational experience in logistics or a related area is often required. On-the-job training is common.
