IT Intern - 112200DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Arconic is currently in search of an IT Intern to join our Arconic IT Team in Pittsburgh, PA.Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities * Work with Business groups to gather and document business needs and processes * Develop enterprise business automation solutions using the toolset of the assigned projects * Work with business teams to perform application testing of configurations, migrations, and customizations * Operate with Arconic IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT Standards * Work across a global IT team to share information and best practicesKey Objectives * Collaborate with IT Applications teams learn internal development processes and standards * Learn and apply the applicable toolsets to solve real world business problems * Add value to the company through key IT project and task deliverables * Bring a new perspective and new ideas to IT efforts and processesQualifications Basic Qualifications * Credits toward a bachelor's degree in IS/IT or similar, from an accredited institution * Relevant IT course work completed successfully * Basic understanding of algorithms, systems analysis and design, database concepts, and networking concepts * Must have an expected graduation date in late 2025, Spring/Summer of 2026, or, Spring/Summer of 2027 * Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. * This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
