This Duty Free Retail Manager Job Is for You, If You Enjoy:

Your Team is counting on you as a Duty Free Retail Manager to:

  1. Provide flexibility to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends & holidays
  2. Work a full-time schedule

Duty Free Retail Manager Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the General Manager in maximizing sales and profits by meeting and exceeding sales budgets while minimizing shrink.
  2. Assist the General Manager in recruiting and developing quality staff at all levels. Provide input to location succession planning.
  3. Provide leadership, effective management, and training for staff.
  4. Ensure communications from home office and the General Manager are delivered to all staff levels.
  5. Ensure full adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  6. Implement and enforce controls that protect the company’s assets from internal and external shrink.
  7. Ensure overall floor coaching and supervision is delivered consistently to ensure excellent customer service.
  8. Complete all administrative work as assigned by the General Manager (i.e., scheduling, back-office administration) in a timely manner.
  9. Perform daily/weekly operational audits.
  10. Ensure adherence to all promotional programs and report deficiencies in compliance to the General Manager.
  11. Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and visual merchandising skills.
  12. Perform daily inspections in each store to ensure company standards in visual presentation, stock replenishment, and housekeeping are maintained.
  13. Fulfill all responsibilities of General Manager in his/her absence including responsiveness to landlord and home office requests.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Leadership qualities and demonstrated organizational skills.
  2. Excellent time-management skills and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Experience with MS Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with diverse personalities.
  5. Ability to multi-task.
  6. Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  7. Able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
  8. High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate degree or above preferred.
  9. Two years of previous retail management experience. Multi-store management experience required for multi-store locations.
