Job Overview:
The Clinical Director plays a pivotal leadership role at The Ridge, overseeing all clinical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in a residential treatment setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering professional development among staff. This individual will also be responsible for program development, clinical supervision, and advocacy for client services with insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of the clinical program to ensure high-quality care, efficient operations, and adherence to program standards.
  2. Manage a team of 10+ clinicians, ensuring continuity of care, compliance with scheduling requirements, and excellence in individual and family therapy services.
  3. Provide direct clinical supervision and guidance to staff, particularly those working toward full licensure, ensuring ongoing training in evidence-based practices and fostering professional growth.
  4. Responsible for direct supervision of conditionally licensed Master’s level clinicians working towards full licensure in the State of New Hampshire.
  5. Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adolescent clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  6. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and Joint Commission accreditation standards.
  7. Maintain high standards for clinical documentation, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant record-keeping across the clinical team.
  8. Lead crisis intervention efforts, providing direct support and guidance to both staff and clients during high-risk situations, ensuring safety and appropriate clinical response protocols are followed.
  9. Lead and participate in the utilization review process, advocating with insurance companies to ensure coverage for essential client care.
  10. Facilitate clinical staff meetings and develop engaging, age-appropriate therapeutic curriculum for adolescent mental health treatment.
  11. Foster a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented clinical environment while addressing the unique needs of adolescents in a residential treatment setting.

Reports To:

  • William Hutchinson, Executive Director

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, or social work.
  2. Full licensure as an LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT in the state of New Hampshire or in a state with reciprocity (required).
  3. At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical management, with demonstrated leadership in a residential or group home setting.
  4. Experience working with adolescents, particularly in residential treatment settings, and a deep understanding of co-occurring disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Pay: $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
