**License:** NC or Compact license required at the time of start
**Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS, NIH
**Must-Have:**
- IV Start skills
- Experience in telemetry
**Job Description:**
- Provide care for cardiac patients pre and post-procedures.
- Work in a 24-bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit.
- Manage patient diagnoses including Pre/Post Cath, PPM & AICD, Watchman Procedures, and Stress Tests.
- Handle management of cardiac patients with conditions such as TIA, Carotid Stent Management, Arrhythmias, and cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Renal Dose Dopamine, Lasix Drips, non-titrating Nitro Drips for stable CP, and NSTEMI Patients).
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5-6.
- Float to similar units as required.
- Schedule includes four weekend shifts per each six-week schedule.
- Manage rapid patient turnover with an average length of stay of 1.8-2.4 days.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer during peak transition times with ADT nurse support.
- Complete mandatory orientation and pass EKG testing prior to start.
- Adhere to compliance and certification requirements.
- Meet any absence requirements by making up shifts at contract end as per policy.
- Flexibility with shifts is required; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
- Work two out of three major holidays as per the contract.
