Responsible for providing analytical support to senior or executive management on key operational metrics, potential business growth opportunities and business improvement initiatives While the primary focus of this role is in either mortgage lending or loan servicing, incumbents will also participate in cross-functional strategic projects across the enterprise. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.The target pay range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000What you’ll do:Define, manage, and develop the business analytics to enhance reporting and business intelligence.Utilize analytical tools and root cause/analysis of business processes/execution.Recommend core business function improvements to senior management.Design and manage the creation of business related systems to ensure business processes are well monitored and cohesive.Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all company related reporting to executive management and supporting staff.Lead business critical projects geared towards enhancing execution and technology capabilities.Liaising with clients, IT, Finance, Human Resources, Executive Management to ensure project objectives, scope and timing are achieved.Collaborate with business leaders to assess needs and develop solutions to promote growth and efficiency.Work closely with management, end-users and IT in the analysis of business requirements to deliver effective business intelligence reporting solutions.Manage portfolio of business projects, assess and analyze business impact of projects, and communicate project activities and updates.Lead assigned projects within the organization through the project lifecycle, including analysis, specification, design, development and deployment.Translate project requirements into project objectives and task and develop detailed project schedules, project estimates, and resource plans to ensure the optimization of resources and achievement of project objectives.Manage multiple projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholder groupsMonitor and take action to ensure business intelligence systems and capabilities are relevant and critical data measures are accurately represented.Create a variety of reporting solutions such as operational reports, scorecards, or dashboards to visualize business unit performance and trends.Perform data analysis and make recommendations based on results.Establish key performance metrics, design reporting/dashboard solutions, and promote the use of structured information to drive enhanced business performance.Analyze findings and implement process improvements to the business and/or leadership.Utilize various tools such as SQL Server and Excel for data analysis and reporting as well as proprietary reporting tools integrated in business applicationsWhat you'll need:Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent work experience may be substituted.Previous experience in project management, business intelligence, reports development, and/or data analysis required.Previous experience with database management systems (SQL) preferred.Business Systems Analyst experience, training and/or certification preferred.Knowledge of mortgage lending, real estate sales, title and escrow.Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, etc.Intermediate MS Access SkillsStrong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skillsAbility to interact with Senior Management as an advisor on projectsAbility to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basisAbility to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop forecasts and computer modelsAbility to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, publications of limited scope or impact, etc., and/or to make presentations outside the immediate work areaOur Company:Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is part of The Carrington Companies.
