Summary
This candidate will be part of an enterprise DevOps team to develop tools and CI/CD framework that accelerate development, testing, and deployment of applications. Great opportunity for a solid Python developer with DevOps experience or looking to move into a DevOps role.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop tools and CI/CD framework to make it easier for teams to build, configure, and deploy applications
- Provide build pipelines, verification & promotion pipelines, and automated delivery tools with level II support including bug fixes and new features as necessary
- Write unit and integration tests based on chosen DevOps frameworks
- Troubleshoot environments as problems arise, test fixes, and perform follow-up to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
- Other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- 4+ years programming experience
- Hands-on experience working in Agile and DevOps cultures, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) automation and process improvement
- Experience working both independently and well as collaborating in a fast-paced, change-oriented, and demanding IT environment with a strong focus on business outcomes
- Self-starter – takes the initiative to research, learn, and deliver. Anticipates the play.
- Team player – humble, collaborative, and focused on making sure the entire team succeeds
Technical Skills
- 4+ years programming experience developing in Python and/or Java (with at least 1 year Python)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and technologies such as GitHub, Make, Docker, Compose, and Artifactory
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with frameworks such as pytest and unittest
- Working knowledge of Jenkins pipelines
- Working knowledge of Terraform
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience working with cloud ecosystems (AWS preferred)
Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience)
Certificates or Licenses
- Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Associate are a plus
