Position summary

  • Ensures that all staff members are in compliance with DHS training requirements
  • Create and maintain all training records and employees’ logs
  • Provide monthly schedules at least 30 days in advance for staffing purposes
  • Assure that HR has a copy of all training logs and certificates
  • Works in conjunction with Residential Coordinators to give appropriate staff feedback when necessary
  • Works in conjunction with Executive Director to give final determination of staff appraisals and promotions of rank and salary.

Position Qualifications

  • Require Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field or a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college/ university and 6 yrs exp.
  • All candidates must pass a Criminal Record and Child Abuse History/Clearance and possess a valid Driver’s License.

Experience

Experience in CASSP system and/or residential care preferred.

Special Training / Skills

  • Must Be Certified CPR Instructor
  • Must be Certified First Aid Instructor
  • Must be Certified Trainer of Physical and Verbal De-escalation techniques
