About the role:
As Business Operations Director , you will have a key role in developing and executing critical business objectives and ensuring operational excellence for the embedded finance team. This role is data-focused and results-driven. You will work cross-functionally to identify, collect, and analyze information needed to make critical business decisions, track progress on performance indicators, and define and implement process improvements. You will also prepare and deliver presentations for C-level leaders, so the ability to distill complex issues into clear narratives and actionable strategies is of the utmost importance. You need to be a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills. You should also be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
What you will be doing:
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, strategy, product, business development, and other teams to ensure important topics are presented to leadership for awareness, discussion and/or decision making
  • Develop and drive adoption of performance measurements and track progress against business objectives
  • Lead or support major initiatives, including planning, execution, and project management
  • Identify, implement, and test solutions that solve critical problems and/or improve business performance
  • Prepare C-suite ready presentations for various leadership groups and governance committees
  • Lead discussions on topics relevant to the team and participate in wider initiatives as needed
  • Prepare various executive management reports to support business operations and decision making
  • Develop and bring valuable insights and analysis to the leadership team, enabling data-driven decision making
  • Bolster cross-functional communication and data sharing to improve products, customer experience, and operational cadence
What you will need:
  • 5+ years experience in business operations, management, or consulting in financial services or a related industry
  • Track record of successfully driving reporting and projects, both individually and in collaboration with cross-organizational teams
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts into salient facts creating C-suite quality visualizations and presentations
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and equivalent Google applications with excellent presentation and data visualization skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and quantitative skills
Added bonus if you have:
  • A masters degree in business administration or a related field
  • Experience managing a team
  • Deep understanding of embedded finance, payments, or a related industry
  • Management consulting experience

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $160,480.00 - $269,610.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
